For our 2022 calendar, we've selected the most powerful, breathtaking images of preserved battlefields taken by our gifted and incredibly generous "Distinguished Photographer Corps." The Corps is made up of the professional and semi-professional photographers who donate the most exceptional work - in terms of quantity and quality - for use by the Trust. These photographers share a passion for capturing the beauty and majesty of battlefields and a willingness to tackle difficult and unusual assignments. They've been known to drive long distances, match the contours of topographic maps to an empty field and, in one memorable instance, camp overnight in a swamp to capture the perfect sunrise.
