Keep your essentials handy while showing your commitment to battlefield preservation. Inspired by the design of old 1940's map cases, this bag easily holds an iPad and other essentials while having a slim profile that stays close to the body when worn. Custom-crafted by master craftsman Shawn Bettinger of Stickman Leather in Seattle, Washington, the bag is constructed of materials made in the U.S.A. [Please note: this bag now features one snap instead of two]

    • Debossed with American Battlefield Trust on the pocked under the flap and “Saving Hallowed Ground” on the back.
    • Handcrafted from American Bison tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with buffalo head nickel snap manufactured in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Expect minor variations that give it character.
    • Features adjustable straps with single snap front over pocket.
    • Includes dust bag stamped with Trust logo.
    • Size: 11” high, 9” wide, 3.5” deep

    Tahoma Bag

The quality of materials and construction is excellent. The outside dimensions of the bag are as advertised. The usable dimensions of the large pocket are only about 8 inches in width and 9.75 inches in height, if you want to still close the bag. It's too small to easily fit a Battle Maps book (8.5" X 11") in the pocket. A Battle Maps book won't lie flat in the pocket and the flap can't be secured over it. To be more useful, this bag needs to be a full inch wider and two inches taller.

Well made, modest capacity for light travel

The leather is beautifully made, soft and as advertised can hold an IPad with a small notebook. Front pocket is perfect for pens and/or a small binoculars, maybe a small camera. Best for non-bulky travel for walking on battlefield grounds. If looking for larger capacity, such as books or additional gear, I would consider the adventure bag for $70 more. Great for limited materials and long walks.
